I heard that Stella, Guinness (I already new this one) and New Castle were not vegan!  Jeez.  It’s not even as if I like those beers but it is always interesting to find things I previously thought were fine are actually hands off.  The other day my roommate handed me some chex mix like snack drizzled with chocolate that I started eating cause she’s vegan too.  We are vegan for different reasons, her health and me politics, but both eat the same foods nonetheless.  Turns out that it contained anchovies!  Cause of the worchestire sauce.  Oops.

Anyone else have any information on food items that seem vegan but actually are not?  Alcoholic beverages included-I thought those were free range!
